Matt and I are kindred spirits for many reasons, one if them being our appreciation for Trubbish, and subsequent frustration with everyone who doesn’t seem to agree that Trubbish is the best god damn Pokémon ever
The best tactic I can recommend whenever something like this happens is to humanize the subject and that’s exactly what Matt has done with this adorable little Christmas story he wrote about a lonely little Trubbish who just wants to celebrate the holidays with his neighbours in spite of his stinkiness
It’s called Trubbish Christmas Trouble and features cover art by Vondell Swain and was otherwise almost (due to some submissions still forthcoming) entirely illustrated by a group of friends on here including myself and a bunch of other lovely and talented people you may know
This was really fun to be a part of and I know it’s a little late due to all our holiday plans but think of it like some nice leftover Christmas baking you found in the back of your pantry
